Al-Furqan Mosque UKIM Glasgow and Minhaj-ul-Quran International Glasgow jointly hosted Jumu'ah Salah in the blessed company of His Eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam Prof. Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
Following the salah, Shaykh-ul-Islam delivered a powerful Naseeha on the responsibility of Dawah. He reminded attendees that every believer carries a duty to convey goodness, beginning with their own household and their immediate circle before broadening out into the wider community.
Dawah, he explained, is not the domain of preachers only. It is a way of living: an attentiveness to the neighbours around us, a truthfulness in our own conduct, and a readiness to share what we know when the opportunity comes. The most effective dawah, he said, remains the dawah of character.
The Glasgow joint gathering was a strong signal of unity between the two organisations and the wider Scottish Muslim community, and it opens a fuller programme of collaboration through the year.
