These terms govern your use of the website at minhaj.uk, run by Minhaj-ul-Quran International UK ("we", "us", "MQI UK"). MQI UK is a registered charity in England & Wales (no. 1102801) and Scotland (no. SC045860).

Acceptable use
When using this site, you agree not to:
- Break any law or use the site for any illegal or fraudulent purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our servers, databases, or other infrastructure.

- Interfere with or disrupt the site or services, including by overwhelming our servers.

If you create an account or submit information through our forms (membership, volunteer, contact, donation), you agree to:

- Keep your login credentials confidential (if applicable).
- Take responsibility for activity carried out under your account or submission.
- Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
We may verify any information submitted and may decline an application if it appears inaccurate, incomplete, or in bad faith. Membership is at the discretion of MQI UK, subject to our internal rules.
Intellectual property
All content on this site — including text, images, logos, photographs, video, audio, and design — is owned by MQI UK or used with permission. Trademarks (including the MQI UK logo, the Minhaj name and associated marks) are the property of MQI UK or our respective licensors.
You may:
- View, share, and print individual pages for your personal, non-commercial use.
- Link to our pages, provided you do so fairly and don't imply any false association.
You may not, without our prior written consent:
- Reproduce, redistribute, or republish content for commercial purposes.

If you submit material to us (for example, a comment, photo, or volunteer profile), you grant MQI UK a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use it for our charitable purposes. You must own or have permission to share anything you submit.
Donations & payments
Donations are processed through trusted third-party payment providers. We do not store full card details on our servers.
- One-off donations are non-refundable except in cases of genuine error or fraud. Contact info@minhaj.uk within 14 days if you believe a payment was made in error.
- Recurring (monthly) donations can be cancelled at any time through your bank or by contacting us.
- Gift Aid can only be claimed if you have given an accurate declaration and are a UK taxpayer. You are responsible for the difference if you pay less tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on your donations.
- Membership fees are charged annually. Membership is not transferable.
Receipts and Gift Aid records are sent to the email address you provide.
Third-party links
Our site links to other websites (for example, our partner organisations, payment processors, social media platforms, and Al-Ma'rifa Institute and Minhaj Publications). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those sites. Following an external link is at your own risk.
Liability & disclaimers
We work hard to keep the site accurate, current, and available, but we provide it on an "as-is" basis.
To the extent permitted by law:
